My second attempt at a mosaic. As with the owl mosaic this piece also used Smalti mosaic pieces. The mosaic pieces were cut into the required shape and then glued on top of a painted piece of mdf. I then cut flat mosaic tiles and framed the fox with them. This was then secured on to a piece of gold mdf.
